Dental Insurance Plus, Choosing your own dentist.
Question: I like your plans where it says I can choose my own dentist. Is that true? Can I go to any dentist I want? I called my dental office, and was told that they would send a billing claim to any dental insurance company I want but it would be on me if they do not accept them. I can I make sure that the dental company will accept a claim from my dentist?
Answer: Yes on any plan that we have to offer that says you can choose your own dentist that is true. You can go to any dentist you want because it is either a PPO that will let you go outside their network of providers and and Insurance plan that does not have a provider data base. Therefore allowing you do choose who you want.
However, make sure you understand any plan limitations such as waiting periods, yearly maximum limitations and deductibles. If you full understand how a given plan works for you, you should be happy with it.
